  I would like to inform a new book is released in the MS Dynamics CRM 2011 World: It’s “Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Unleashed” written by Marc Wolenik, Damian Sinay, Rayja Vardhan Bhaiya. Marc (Wolenik) is a really good friend and a big professional, he showed me during Extreme 2011 in Las Vegas his “fresh” copy and my personal impressions are really positive! Great Job!

Vorrei segnalare l’uscita di un nuovo libro inerente MS Dynamics CRM 2011: “Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Unleashed” (quelli con la copertina arancione ;) ), scritto da Marc Wolenik, Damian Sinay, Rayja Vardhan Bhaiya. Ho la fortuna di conoscere personalmente Marc (Wolenik), essendo stato per 1 anno MVP ed essendoci incontrati in giro per il mondo in diverse conferenze. Quest’anno eravamo speaker insieme ad ExtremeCRM 2011 a Las Vegas, dove Marc mi ha mostrato una copia “fresca di stampa” della sua ultima creazione. L’impressione è sicuramente positiva, il libro copre una gran moltitudine di argomenti in modo semplice e lineare, con molti screenshots e descrizioni dettagliate.

Extreme CRM Conference 2011, Las Vegas 2-5 October 2011

 For second year I will be speaker @ExtremeCRM Conference in Las Vegas, from 2 to 5 of October. It’s the second edition in USA and third in total (after ExtremeCRM in Prague) and the event is growing edition after edition, thanks to all the members of the organization and in particular to John Verdon and Christy Spokely.

I will present 2 sessions:

1) Sitemap, Ribbon and application navigation manipulation – LEVEL 300 – for DEVELOPERS
2) More than a Facelift: IFD in CRM 2011 – LEVEL 400  – for IMPLEMENTERS

 Per il secondo anno consecutivo sarò speaker ad ExtremeCRM Las Vegas, che si terrà dal 2 al 5 Ottobre nella famosa città del Nevada. La conferenza è alla seconda edizione negli USA, la terza in totale dopo il successo di ExtremeCRM a Praga. L’evento cresce di edizione in edizione grazie all’ottimo lavoro svolto dall’organizzazione ed in particolare di John Verdon e Christy Spokely.

MVP Dynamics CRM 2011 – Renewed!

I’m honored to announce that for the 4th year I was renewed as MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional) in Dynamics CRM. It’s a great opportunity for me to be part of a great group here in Italy with others MVP and friends in different technologies, and the group of CRM MVPs around the world. This year it’s also very special for me because my friend Michele Aponte received the MVP award too in ASP.NET category. He is also a member of Crionet and our team now counts on 3 MVPs, considering also the “maestro” Dino Esposito. My special thanks, as always, go to Alessandro Teglia, our fantastic Lead, that with passion and friendship manages this fantastic family.

Sono onorato di annunciare che per il quarto anno consecutivo posso fregiarmi del titolo MVP (Microsoft Most Valuable Professional), nella categoria Dynamics CRM. E’ una grande opportunità per me far parte di questa meravigliosa “famigghia” (Cit.Leone Randazzo) di MVP Italiani e del meraviglioso gruppo di MVP CRM nel mondo (peccato incontrarci solo poche volte all’anno con tutti). Ringrazio come sempre un amico e una guida per il nostro gruppo di MVP Italiani: Alessandro Teglia, che con passione ed amicizia ci è sempre vicino.
E’ un anno ancora di più speciale dal momento che Michele Aponte, mio amico, ha ricevuto l’MVP Award nella categoria ASP.NET, frutto di diversi anni di sacrifici a gestire la Community dotnetcampania, e un anno intenso passato insieme, culminato con la nostra ottima sessione a TechDays WPC2010. Sono orgoglioso poi del fatto che al Team Crionet si aggiunga un altro MVP, ora siamo in 3; oltre a Michele e me, la figura del “grande maestro” Dino Esposito. Il 2011 inizia nel migliore dei modi!

xRM Cloud Acceleration Lab in Redmond

From 6 to 9 of Dicember I was honored to be selected as Advisor for the “xRM Cloud Acceleration Lab”, based in Microsoft at Redmond. After 2 days of adventures to reach my final destination (I’ve spent 1 night in Amsterdam due to a snow storm), just arrived in Seattle I found my 2 great friends Kuba Skalbania (MVP) and Tomasz Luchowski, both from Poland.

All days were exciting and full of technical experiences. First Day, before starting the real work in the Lab, Kuba and me presented a session “xRM, CRM Online, BPOS and Office365″.

During the week, Sanjay assigns me the American Company CINCOM, and with Jerry Weinstock (MVP from CRM Innovation) we followed the project of Mr.Greg Doud and Mr.Bibek Dey, in the development of a very complex application.
We decided to build a webservices on top of a “Decisional System” owned by Cincom, and updated it on Azure Platform, installing also certificates (SSL) to secure the connection between Azure Environment and CRM2011. Consuming the webservice, the XML give different parameters to characterize different fields of CRM2011 (OnLine and On-Prem) of the Account Entity.

With this description it seems very simple…

Besides it was a great occasion to meet my great friends MVP Matt, Mitch, Ross, David, Shan, Jerry.

Dal 6 al 9 Dicembre (2010) ho avuto la fortuna di essere selezionato come Advisor per l’xRM Cloud Acceleration Lab, svoltosi in Microsoft a Redmond. Dopo un travagliato viaggio di ben 2 giorni (causa stop forzato per neve ad Amsterdam) , mi sono incontrato con i miei 2 grandi amici polacchi Kuba Skalbania (MVP) ed il suo “socio” Tomasz Luchowski.
A parte il fuso orario, tutta la settimana è stata davvero entusiasmante e ricca di esperienze tecniche.
Il primo giorno di Lab, prima di iniziare il vero e proprio lavoro, Kuba ed io abbiamo presentato la sessione “xRM, CRM Online, BPOS, Office 365“.
Durante la settimana poi mi è stata assegnata l’azienda americana CINCOM, ed in coppia con Jerry Weinstock (CRM Innovation) abbiamo seguito Mr.Greg Doud e Mr.Bibek Dey nello sviluppo di un’applicazione decisamente complessa.
Costruito on-top di un sistema decisionale proprietario di CINCOM un WebServices, abbiamo trasferito il tutto in Azure, installando anche una connessione sicura (SSL) per “consumare” l’XML prodotto dal WebService. Il sistema decisionale fornisce quindi alcuni parametri al CRM (On-Prem e On-Line) per poter differenziare alcune caratteristiche dell’entità Account, visibile esclusivamente ai Sales Manager.

Detta così sembra semplice…

Per questa grande esperienza ringrazio Sanjay Jain (ISV Architect & Evangelist) e poi anche Girish Raja (ISV Evangelist).

Ho poi avuto la possibilità di incontrare nuovamente i miei grandi amici MVP Matt, Mitch, Ross, David, Shan, Jerry.

Speaker @ Sharepoint & CRM Day

Il giorno 8 Ottobre 2010 (mio compleanno), avrò l’onore di fare la mia prima conferenza “importante” nella mia città natale e cioè Napoli: Sharepoint & CRM Day. Di questo devo ringraziare Michele Aponte, a mio avviso un grandissimo esperto del mondo .NET e Community Lead di .NETCampania, ma credo che l’entusiasmo sia reciproco: io e Michele infatti, abbiamo un sogno comune: diffondere la cultura informatica di alto livello anche nel Sud dell’Italia.
Terrò 2 sessioni, in compagnia del mio caro amico nonchè MVP (come me) Roberto Nocera, che per l’occasione arriverà da Milano. Anche Giuseppe Marchi (che personalmente non conosco e fresco di nomina MVP Sharepoint) sarà dei nostri, insieme a Luigi Panariello, Mario Saccoia e Salvatore Di Fazio.

Sarà anteprima assoluta in Italia (e forse anche in Europa) di una presentazione ufficiale di CRM2011 (ancora in BETA), volutamente, per dare importanza e un segno che qualcosa si muove… :-)

The 8 of October 2010 (my birthday :-) ), I will have my first “important” conference in the city where I born: Naples, in the South of Italy: Sharepoint & CRM Day. I must say “thank you” to Michele Aponte, a great specialist of all the development world based on .NET and Community Lead of .NetCampania; I suppose that both feel something special for this event: Michele and me have a dream: to diffuse the high profile IT culture also in the South of Italy.

I will present 2 sessions, joined by my friend and MVP (like me) Roberto Nocera, that tomorrow will arrive from Milan. Other great professionists like Giuseppe Marchi (also new MVP on Sharepoint) and Luigi Panariello, Mario Saccoia e Salvatore Di Fazio.

It will be an absolute preview in Italy (and maybe in Europe) of a presentation of MS Dynamics CRM 2011 (at the moment in Beta), here are my sessions:
